Mobile Barcoder 0.1.5 released

This version fixes a couple of issues people have been having. It displays as an icon (a square target) in the statusbar rather than the word 'Barcode' and the barcode generated now has a clear-space border again, which should make it easier for the phone to read

As the summary says, this is just a quick post to announce the release of Mobile Barcoder 0.1.5 into the Firefox Addons Sandbox. How long it takes to get it out of the sandbox and into your browser is anyone's guess, but you should be able to install it directly from the sandbox if you can work out how.

Stay tuned, as the long-awaited 0.2.0 release will be released soon, including options for the barcode size and a choice between QR Code and Data Matrix generation. Hopefully that will make the clones that are floating around obsolete.

Thanks for updating the extension. It works great now using the native barcode reader on my nokia phone. No more issues thanks to the thicker white border around the code.
