My GTD Life - Moleskine Notebook

In an attempt to get more organised I am starting to adopt some parts of GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology. The beginning is a quality pocket notebook.

I have heard good things about Moleskine notebooks from podcasters like Amber Mac, Lifehacker and Merlin Mann as a great notebook for getting things done, so I thought I'd try one and see what the hype is about.

I found mine on MojoLondon, who seem to have a nice range of Moleskine notebooks at reasonable prices. I went for a pack of 3 ruled cahier pocket notebooks for £4.99, but to get the free postage (over £10) I decided to get an A5 ruled notebook too, for website designing.

How do I plan to use these with GTD? Well, first of all, I'll keep one in my pocket for making on-the-fly notes, rather than trying to remember everything. I'll try and keep as close track of time as I can, (at least outide work), and I'll use it for task lists, etc. At the moment I keep tasks on random bits of paper (or in my head).

I'll also try and keep track of my progress on becoming productive and organised using this blog.

Who did you get your Moleskine from?

The link doesn't work. I guess these are the same people:

I went the same route (cahiers), and have certainly reaped the benefits.
I then decided to go for the thicker notebook.
Mistake ! Stick with the cahier - the secret is that it's so thin you don't mind carrying it in your shirt pocket, and therefore it's allways at hand to make ANY notes.
